Abstracts

Instructions for poster presentations

· Format for posters is vertical A0 (width 84.1 x height 118.9 cm / 33.1 x 46.8 inches). Please do not exceed the size limitation!

· Posters will be mounted with pushpins (provided on site) on poster boards

· Posters must be placed on poster boards during Wednesday 14th between 8:30 and 11:00

· Poster number will be mounted on each poster board. This number corresponds with the number assigned in the abstract supplement (please note, this is not the abstract number in the abstract submission system)

· Presenting author must be present at the poster during the poster sessions on Wednesday and Thursday

· Posters must be removed during Friday 16th between 10.00 and 13.00. Any posters left behind will be removed and discarded by the staff

Instructions for oral presentations

· Please check the timing/session of your presentation from the program (https://norpm2023.fi/scientific-programme)

· Oral presenters will have 15 minutes for their presentation, including questions. Recommended maximum time for speaking is 12 minutes

· Presentation should be provided in powerpoint or pdf format by one of the two options: 1) as an email attachment to norpm2023@utu.fi on 13th June 2023 at the latest, or 2) provided on site to the speaker ready room during the last break before the session at the latest

NORPM2023 invites abstracts covering all aspects of the field of personalized medicine, including but not limited to pharmacogenetics, drug-drug interactions, special populations, therapeutic drug monitoring, and different therapeutic approaches. If the abstract is accepted for oral or poster presentation the presenting author must register for the conference.

Accepted abstracts will be published in Basic & Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology Journal.

Submission guidelines   

• Abstracts are submitted via the Oxford Abstracts online submission system. Register to Oxford Abstracts to submit. 
• You may amend your submission until the final submission deadline.  
• Remember to complete the abstract and answer all the required questions before the deadline, uncompleted abstracts will not be reviewed.  
• The abstract should be written in English, body text limited to 300words.  
• Title should be written first word capitalized  and then lowercase  (please see the sample abstract linked below)
• List all authors names, note that affiliations should contain institution, city, and country.  
• Sub-headings should be included: aims, methods, results, conclusion 
• The abstract text should consist of text only (no pictures, tables, or figures). Please proofread your text, abstracts will not be edited by the scientific committee. 
• Abstracts will be subject to blind review. 
• Acceptance information will be sent via email to the submitter only.
